Teddi Tornado is a recent addition. She’s is our 5th dog and she shares life with her new family which includes our 3 year old Aussiedoodle with whom she made an instant connection and whom she worships.

We met Teddi in a room filled with happy little bundles of joy and mom and dad at Narrowhaven Doodles. Pascale let us spent as much time as we wanted until we found “the one”, although I’m reasonably certain she found us and not the reverse. There are many things that set Narrowhaven Doodles apart. We gave Pascale Teddi’s new name and she took care to call her that so that she would be used to hearing it before we brought her home. We got reminders for vaccination due dates once Teddi was home with us. We love how we have an opportunity to connect on social media and love Pascale’s genuine interest in her puppies and their new lives.

Dear friends,

Do you or a family member struggle with anxiety, ADHD, or ASD? Never would I have thought that a furry friend in a crazy family of 7 ( with challenges that autism brings) would have restored the peace in our home.

My family and I welcomed our first narrowhaven dog October 2024. My husband disliking the idea of more chaos in our home, and not particularly keen on dogs, was set on returning this sweet hearted beast as soon as our one week trial was over.

Much to our surprise, her sweet behaviour, calm demeanour and gentle personality, completely won heart after heart. And most importantly, restored the peace in our 6 year old daughter who struggles with anxiety and tantrums due to autism.

Life always has it challenges, especially in the past 4 years, dealing with a child who clearly struggles, yells, cries so much, it’s SO HARD on a family. And on the child too. It’s not comfortable for someone to feel all the feelings associated with big emotions, tactile discomforts, misunderstanding, and down right stressful everyday events we neurotypical take for granted.

As our vet said, Teddi is the kind of dog everyone wants. She has a wonderful personality; both fearless and cuddly. She comes by the Tornado part of her name honestly as she is full of a mischief that would melt even the staunchest of hearts. And she is probably the most joyous dog we have ever met. If you love dogs, you want to be sure your breeder loves dogs too. So, if your criteria is “must love dogs” then Narrowhaven Doodles and Pascale Cherry are exactly where you will find your heart.

But dogs are magical! They feel these things, they get it, and understand their humans, in this case our little girl. The connection is unreal and will have everlasting effects on her development! We see the growth everyday, and acknowledge all Brynn does for our child.

It took only a day for my husband to know that this dog, this breed, would be a perfect fit for our home. We are in awe of all she does for our family. She works hard at consoling hearts, tantrums, and stressful situations. For everyone! A gentle shove to come between fighting siblings, a sweet pressure of her big noggin on your lap or a full on pressure hug to give you that weighted comfort to calm your nerves and melt your heart.

Our Brynn comes with a story, a big one! But she also came from answered prayers! I know your pup will too!! These Bernedoodles are so smart!
She learns tricks, boundaries, and play everyday! Never thought I’d say this, but having her, gives us structure and plenty of fresh air! So much laughter and common interests have been placed in the heart of our home because of our sweet pup Brynn! I can’t wait to hear your stories too! Pascale and her family have a gift of breeding the best combination of furry friends. I can’t tell you how pleased we are. It’s so fun to share the progress with them too. They delight in Brynn’s news and progress. It takes alot of love, time and sacrifice to care for those pups and I’ve seen a lot of excellent kennels out there, great dogs too! But nothing compares to what Pascale has built out of her home with her family.

Note about Brynn: I (Pascale) had originally placed Brynn in a guardian home with the hopes of breeding her. It turned out that her role in this family was so special that we opted to let Brynn focus on being a companion for this sweet girl.
